There were a couple of people who got it to work (search the NTLK
archives for LiveJournal), but I suspect there were at least as many
people for whom it didn't work. The LiveJournal API is certainly
unique, but I still think most of the issues could be worked around if
nBlog had its error handling and reporting beefed-up. Again, my
personal conclusion was that building a separate app "Blog Setups"
like the Internet Setups app was the right way to go (rather than
bloat nBlog), and build-in a series of configuration tests that would
pre-flight your configuration and provide enough feedback to help the
user and developer determine what was truly going wrong.

I won't be able to pick up nBlog for a few weeks. I'll note your name
(alongside the long suffering James Nichols for whom nBlog LiveJournal
support wouldn't work reliably) for a follow-up when I eventually pick
it up again.

Of course, it's also possible that LiveJournal has made even a small
change in their protocol that has broken the nBlog XML-RPC handling

Gavin.
