It may not be relevant, but did you have your keyspan serial adapter
plugged into your USB port when you tried to install NCU and Newton
Press. I know that NTK wants to see a serial port during the install.
I can't remember whether I did that when I installed NCU and Newton
Press. I don't have a separate partition for Classic. Whenever I have
run into problems installing software on Panther, it almost always
ends up being a permissions thing. Make sure you run repair
permissions and then try installing again.
