Why would that be insane? I do quite a lot of videoediting on my G5,
there I use a big screen. But to be honest, it can be done on a smaller
screen as well. And Adobe is not the only company making effordable
videoediting programms. Others need less resources.

But that's not the point. The point is that the processor is fast
enough to do so. So, if you are at home just attach a very affordable
17" CRT (nowadays for as less as 74 Euro, that's about 85 US-dollars).
Attach an external harddrive and you can do all the editing you want.

But again, the OQO is pointed at a certain public, and for them this is
a very good machine. At work you attach it to the dock with attached
screen, keyboard, mouse and network. You do all the normal officework
you do usually (surf the web, any office, answer mail, run any
businesspecific software), and when you are going to a meeting or on a
trip you take the small brick with you. The nice thing is that at your
business partner site you only need a screen, keyboard, mouse
(networking) and you can work. You can show the presentation you want,
share Excel-files, whatever. Nobody expects you to surf the web with
that small screen or edit huge spreadsheets or extensive worddocuments.

But given the intended use this truly is a PDA.

And when you are at home you do all the other stuff you want, e.g.
videoediting 8-).

If I would be a businesman I would wait for version 2 and buy it.
