I ended up getting a SanDisk 512MB CF card ($60 after rebate on Amazon,
get 'em while they're hot) and a SanDisk PCMCIA adapter. It's not as
fast as linear flask, but it works fine. I gave up on the Memory stick
PRO media because the PCMCIA adapter for it is too bloody expensive,
and the media costs so much more than CF that despite the fact that I
already have a Sony camera, it just isn't worth it.
Now I just have to install a headphone jack and I'll never need an
iPod. Perhaps I'll get some of those silly overpriced white earbud
headphones anyway.
