   IMHO, they went too far into trying to emulate the desktop
experience. They probably had demanding clients at the time, but now
we need something that just works.
   I find it amusing that they implemented a moving icon in a window
that should give you feedback by itself.

  The first step is to remove the registration process. Then,
probably, separate the web/ftp/email clients so we're able to
debug/expand them one at a time.
