Are you able to connect via GPRS directly from the phone? There
shouldn't be any dialing if you are using GPRS by the way.

Right, but can you use the GPRS connection from the phone as a
standalone? This is how I got my t68i to work. first I had to figure
out how to navigate those stupid ass menus and options until I got the
WAP working. Once that worked getting the Newton to select that
working setup was a piece of cake.

Do you have the Nitro/Blunt NIE patch installed? I haven't really go
the IR thing working so I am only guessing... I am using BT.
