So the application has errormessages that name plugins that the
developers expected to be made in the future. ( I saw a few other
ones that I decided not to ask about - must be in the same category).
OK.

And the few people that have sucess using Nethopper to download
packages can do it because A: they have the ZNHPatch and B: the site
from which they download the files is constructed in a particular way?

If this rephrasing is correct - then I've got it!
