1pt, I switch to 2pt if I need to distinguish two lines in a diagram or
graph though.

I only used digital ink/delayed conversion for the first few weeks of
taking notes in class. Once my Newton learned the "lingo" it could keep
up just fine with immediate conversion.

Of course, I was copying notes from a blackboard or overhead most of the
time - I didn't have any classes where the lecturer didn't have the
important info written out. I'm not sure how it would work if I had to
figure out what to write down from what the lecturer was saying and deal
with HWR at the same time.
