Dan,

I'm in the same situation you're in - I have the
battery sled and want to convert it so that it
recharges my 2100mah batteries when plugged in (like
the actual battery pack). Here's what I've been able
to piece together:
- Do a search here on NT for "thermister" and
"thermistor"- that's the piece that makes it all work.
It's a 10k ohm NTC Farnell type, (ordering number
679-446, 10kOhm). Or Murata carries one.
- Check here for instructions:

- Or here for more information:
http://www.newtontalk.net/archive/newtontalk.2002-01/2245.html
.
There's lots more info out there, it just takes a
little looking.
It seems like a pretty simple process, even for me who
hasn't soldered squat.

HTH,
Matthew
