I feel there's no point to WEP; it's script-kiddie breakable and
reportedly slows your bandwidth (the latter could be untrue, I've not
checked). Anyone who would be bothering/capable to "sniff" your
wireless is also capable of decoding the WEP as well.

I set my WAP to restrict access to specified MAC addresses (although
THAT'S not hard to get around, since the MAC address of machines is
sent in the clear)) and leave WEP off. Enough to keep the neighbors
from using my connection easily; anyone who really WANTS anything can
get into it after sniffing 100k packets or so.

So get those Bronze cards on sale cheap, and have fun with them.
