Hi All

Apologies for what I am sure will seem like a real newbie question, but
here's my problem. Just got my first Newton and its all good. Have hit
slight hitch. want to be able to use it as a Powerbook replacement so I
need to be able to transfer word docs back and forth. Installed NCU in
OS9 and then launched Classic under OSX to try and connect to Newt. The
only connection choice is via AppleTalk and I can't find the serial
port option (using a USB-Serial adapter from Keyspan).

I know that I am doing something really stupid and I have searched
through the archived posts to see what the solution is but have only
found similar questions and no actual solutions. It seems that most
people are using Airport or Ethernet. Is it actually possible to use
NCU with serial or is there an OSX native application I should be using
- have NewTen which works well with package but does not recognise word
processing docs, or do I need to spend more money and get an ethernet
cable/ WiFi card.

Any help would be really welcome.

Thanks

Dave
