Writestuff adds style sheets, handwriting recognition, word count, character
picker and other functions. Get Merlin/Wordsleuth with it. Together they
complete Works.

I agree, Writestuff and Merlin/Wordsleuth make a unbeatable combination.
The only things that Worksbetter has that Writestuff does not is the ability
to make the paper background lined and headers/footers. However Writestuff
is much more stable then Worksbetter in my experience (at least if you have
a lot of Newtworks modules installed.

Oh a couple of things that come with Writestuff is: Pro Point (adds some
great features to the text caret and is a separate package from works), Auto
Text (allows easy access to the built/user word list), tabulator (quickly
convert spaces to tabs and back again), and more fonts (Avant Garde,
Bookman, Courier, New Century SchoolBook,
Helvetica, Palatino, Symbol, Chancery and Dingbats.)
