Tom

Starchart does both you can filter out constellations and/or planets.

I'm strictly an amateur astronomer i.e. picking out stuff while camping with
family etc so Starchart works for me.

Subject: Re: [NTLK] Starchart

Do any of these starchart programs actually contain a star catalog? If
not it's pretty useless. One only shows constellation names, and another
locates planets (which is pretty much useless since the most interesting
planets stand out visually because they don't twinkle).

I'm looking for a program which actually has a star or dso catalog for
locating specific stars and deep sku objects.

Thanks
Tom
