Yes its me again, just wont stop till i figure this out completely. Have
noticed some modems have no way of letting the user manualy answer with
it.Seems only some older modem software has this abilitie. However after
some quiet thinking, lots of reading, a find was made. Seems all modems
use a common language:AT commands. or modem strings.These can be used to
accomplise various things, one even should fill the bill for pc users
wishinf to try modem to modem. It tells your pc modem to wait for a
period of time for other modems intial shriek (carrier tone) . Goes like
this, in the modem software prefs you should find a location to inter an
AT command note how ever thing is set then change the AT command to {
ATS7=n} without the brakets, and "n" stands for the numder of seconds
you want it to wait. 9 seconds should work fine.

As of yet this is untested, just wanted to get it out to anyone
interested.
As always feel free to let me know what you think. As long as its about
newtons or Apples.... well ok even pc's.
take care
Bryan

 Kind of like remembering who said that.
