Everything is possible, but swapping heaps seems like a marginal
concept and certainly a very slow one...

Freezing packages would prevent them from using heap space so that is
possible.

I don't get the lust for a 4G card in a Newton. Just plain greedy I
guess :~)

I have a 20M linear card that still has plenty of room on it, and it's
got lots of goodies on it and data going back 7 years.

PS Mono low rate MP3's coming out of the newton speaker don't hold a
big attraction for me.
