Yes. It is just as useless to me and annoys me just as much as the
Newt's NIC port. I only need the FireWire connection on the iPod,
just as I only ever need the serial connection on the Newt. I
shouldn't really complain, though. I only bought the iPod because of
the rebate right before the new ones came out.
