All the points Morgan brings have doubtfull value, surely all
"bloatware" is intrinsically weak against a hack, as is bad
programming, I sometimes run the latest virex but have never kept an
infected file, If I get and email marked returned post or I thought of
you from an unknown source I delete and 'apple k' it. I have moved a
suspect email to another computer and tried to open the atatchment but
just got a lot of rubbish with lots of line breaks, the computer ran
perfect(ethernet dissed in case) until i replaced the tiny hard drive
to sell it (400 crt imac, 10.3). The issue of windows open ports (with
welcome mat), public codec and careless programing surely must be a
case of criminal neglect? It seems to me that no MS os has sufficient
control to ask the user if they want to install this program? My
programing is rusty (as in titanic rusty!) but in 1979 we ran at 4 meg
on 8 or 16 K of onboard memory, large floppy (2 of) and no hd at all
but we were asked to authorise a program, even a game, Apple got sued
by gold diggers moaning about Ipod battery life, but where it the class
action against micro$oft"s total lack of dilligence?
