I may have some contacts at the State of Michigan that still need Tech.
Writers. I'll contact them and let you know. Is locating to Lansing or
commuting there an issue?

Subject: [NTLK] Job hunting

Hello Paul:

Good luck with your job interviews. I hope that you and the other thirteen
million (unofficial statistic) victims of America's Wal-Martization (my
pet
name for the current economic situation) will find meaningful employment. I

agree that eleven months is a long time to be without work.

I am a communications specialist, with solid skills in marketing, research,
technical writing, and public relations (Taken directly from my cover
letter).
My primary area expertise is in the realm of technical writing, but I have
tried to branch out by studying desktop publishing, marketing, and other
disciplines. I have a BA in English/History and an MA in mathematics
(degree
pending) from the University of Detroit Mercy. Served internships at the
Smithsonian
and the Library of Congress, taught public and private school for a while.
I
am also the founder of a small nonprofit organization and serve as
Development Director for another nonprofit. I've been busting my @$$, and I
still have
not found a decent job. Been on layoff since October 1, 2003.

If anybody is seeking a good technical writer, please contact me at my
e-mail
addy. Thank you for allowing me to invade your bandwidth.

Sincerely,

Matt Kowalczyk
