A bit off topic but when a SER-001 is installed, does it disable the
Newton Interconnect Port, or can both be used?

Subject: [NTLK] SER-001 problems

I installed an SER-001 recently, and found that my serial port stopped
working correctly. My Newton was unable to communicate properly with my
cellular modem and my StyleWriter 2500. It initiates communication, but
is unable to continue. When I removed the SER-001, they worked
normally. The problem exists whether I use the SER-001 or the dongle
whenever the SER-001 is installed. Any ideas?
