Yes, you will need an adapter and an ATA driver if you want more than 4Mb on
your drive. If you keep to Sandisk cards (readily available in Australasia)
then you should have no troubles. The ATA driver worked fine for me except
for MoreInfo.

Can you use a compact flash card on a newt by using the compact flash
adapter or do you still need the software from Hiroshi et al. It looks like
the adapter is required because of the apparent size difference between
these cards.

Does the adapter also perform some other functions to make the compact flash
card useable on the newt?

I would appreciate any suggestions as to good brands of compact flash cards.
I have looked at the FAQ, thanks
