remember, steve declared os 9 dead a while back

so, apple isnt doing anything more for 9, but there is a substantial
similarity ni the win2k and xp codebase, so an app can be developed
primarily for xp, but be tweaked slightly to also run on 2k and provide
a great deal of additional users available to use iTunes for windows
