I have tried that, me too, tried to ask my 2100 to do
this job as well as my Palm, and my conclusion is that
the Newt just cannot do this basic job correctly, even
if it can be much more sophisticate for this or that
other tasks.

On an other point of view, I totaly reach Russell Martin
in his above very long post, about the others problems
which are the form factor, and the poor screen.

I love my Newton, as a collector item, but I just cannot
use it at this time for two main reasons: the lack of a good
and color screen (my eyes really need it), and the lack of a
*perfect* sync with usual PIM applications on our Macs or PCs.
