yeah...ain't gonna happen...the PC card slot on the
Newt is not universally compatible with the rest of
the world...Becuase of that, and that funky NIC port,
the Newt's ability to interact with the outside world
is severly limited.
What you will need to do is get a SER-001, install it,
then create a Din - to mini plug converter, then use
the serial cable that comes with your GPS receiver and
you should be good to go.
Heartland America has a really nice Magellan Pro on
sale (36MB of storage) for like $150...I wish I would
have waited...I'm using a Matellan MapTrack Map. Only
6MB storage...Now, I fighting on Ebay for the map
software...
