<snip> Ok, let's see if I can help. I have a similar setup to you,
although I have a different router. That in itself should not make too
much of a difference.

When you say that you have NIE2, do you *only* have the Newton Internet
Enabler installed? Here are the following packages that you need to
install that operate under the umbrella of "Newton Internet 2" (It
seems confusing because one of the is called the Newton Internet
Enabler).

        Newton Devices (newtdev.pkg)
        Newton Internet Enabler (inetenbl.pkg)
        Internet Setup (inetstup.pkg)
        Ethernet Support (enetsup.pkg)

You may not need the Ethernet support package, but I think that
Hiroshi's driver uses part of that. Someone please correct me if I am
wrong.

Now, in addition, you need your web browser (which you have) and
Hiroshi's driver.

Once all of this is installed, when you put the Silver card in, you
should get a slip that tells you that the card is recognized by
Hiroshi's driver. If you don't get that slip, then you are missing
something.

Once the card is recognized, go into Internet Setup and create a Setup
for the WaveLAN card. Assign this to one of your worksites in the
Owner's Info section and you should be in business! This is all covered
in depth ad nauseam in the archives and I'm sure in both the FAQ and
NewtWiki. Generally speaking, if you don't use WEP with your card, I
find that I don't really need to set anything up with the router. YMMV.

Good luck!

Matthew
