   The software for remote control of the Mac is in ROM. All you need is the remote (similar to a TV remote). Allows you to turn the computer on and off and play CDs. If the AV cards are installed, I believe you can play/record movies.
   As for it connecting with an eMate ... never heard of any way of doing it (I had a 6400).
