I've had difficulties at various times backing up different size cards,
having them choke so to speak. I found the problems related to corrupt
files on the card that I used SBM utilities to fix, and then was able to
back up. But the idea of increasing the memory for NCU sounds like a
good thing to do no matter what. Certainly not a problem with all the
ram most computers have nowdays.
