Howdy,
I've finally got both a keyboard and a dongle, so I thought I'd start
typing away. Well, I better think again. Out of more than ten attempts
to enter text into the notepad, the Newton has only responded to
keyboard input twice. I can't believe that this is normal behavior.
Is there some software that I need to install to make the keyboard
work? Any magic spells? I've tried resetting the Newt (a 2100, btw)
after plugging in the keyboard, but that didn't work.
The dongle came in what appeared to be original packaging. The keyboard
came from Shreve, also in its original box. If either is defective, how
can I tell?
