I'm trying to avoid hard reset because I don't want to lose the
information I have on it. It's been dead for five or six years, so I
don't mind waiting a little longer if I can get into it another way.

One person from this list emailed me privately to say that there is a
program that can get into it for me, but that it's not advertised (for
obvious reasons) and he doesn't remember its name. If anyone does, i'd
be grateful.
