Hi List,
I have bought an MP130 and joined the list a few days ago. MP130 came
with serial cable, but I have a Pismo (USB port). I have sadly
discovered by surfing Newton community that MP130 infrared is
incompatible with IrDA. Hence, I need a serial-to-USB adaptor. Keyspan
and Belkin ones are a bit expensive for me at the moment. I had a look
on e-bay and people are selling serial-to-USB by a company called
Entrega as well as Xircom ones (cheap, cheap).
The question is : will these adaptors work with MP130/Pismo combo?
(says that they don't support LocalTalk, but this is a
serial-"serial"(USB) connection, right?)
I find the list and the Community very informed and helpful.
Any help greatly appreciated.
