   I've never had an interconnect port fail (of course I haven't used a
keyboard enough to even *begin* to push it to failure), but the the
Ser-001 is just so much more convenient. Now that I'm doing a bunch of
Hammer work, plugging and unplugging a cable 2 or 3 times a day, maybe
the port would be close to failure if I didn't have the Ser-001.
