Hi,

Plucker is more like an offline web thing - a little like an opensource
AvantGo

As the content is a little richer than a standard Palm book I suspect they
can't
be read by Steves reader (but I haven't tested it).

Linux Document Project does auto generate a number of file formats
http://www.tldp.org/docs.html

There almost needs to be a simple PHP page that can be given an html URL
as
an input will read the page and parse it out as a Newt book . . .
