According to the Newton Programmer Reference:

=AD16022: Operation failed because a resource was not available

IIRC, this usually indicates that the Newton cannot detect in which slot
your communication card is. I would guess that you're probably using a
modem. If that is the case, go back to Internet Setup and edit the setup yo=
u
created to connect to your ISP. Then, check if you have an item in your
setup that says "Modem Settings". If it's not there, then tap the "Add"
button at the bottom and select "Modem Settings" from the popup menu that
should appear. A little dialog will be displayed. You can set the various
settings there if you want but pay attention to the one that reads "Connect
using". This setting is usually set to "Default", which means that the
Newton will try to check both PCMCIA slots in your Newton and find which on=
e
contain the communication card. Tap "Defaults" and select which slot your
communication card is in.

If you're not using a modem but an Ethernet card of some sort, make sure
that the right card is selected for the "Card" setting in the setup.
