I tried it (RC3) just before Christmas and it seems to be working well.
Paul has since mentioned that he has found a bug that might damage data but
I have yet to experience it. While I am waiting for the final release, I
have put only data that I can afford to lose such as e-books on it and it
has worked flawlessly so far.

A few people have suggested that I grab a Compact Flash PCMCIA adapter and
toss in a 24 mb card and get paul's ATA driver ! How easy is it to use,
and how reliable ? I will be leaving north america at the end of January
and will not have access to a mac or sutiable computer to download or
back-up with ?!?!? Is this going to be a problem !?!?!
