does anyone have any experience with the teletype gps pc cards and the
newton?
i go hiking a fair bit and (as soon as i make a waterproof case) plan
on using my newton to navigate in the mournes and a gps would come in
very handy.

i searched through the archives and the most definite answer i could
find was "probably".

the downside is that since we didnt bother to apply for the explorer
belt in time i am now not going :-( this summer, so its not that
urgent. (in case your wondering the exploerer belt you get taken to
canada or somewhere and booted out of the car in the middle of nowhere,
with no idea of where you are, a map of canada, a small budget and a
list of 20 tasks to complete in 2 weeks. the gps would probably have
been cheating anyway)

-------------
WTB in the uk-
-keyboard
-ethernet card
-screen door (or at least the hinge)
-titanium stylus

if you have any of these, please email me off-list
