Brian,

I have a notes folder called "Current Item" where I put new notes I am =
writing.

I only keep one note in this folder, the one I am working on.

This eliminates the problem mentioned below.

When I am done with that note, I file it in the appropriate folder.

Subject: [NTLK] Note taking problem - scroll a half page?

I use my 2100 primarily for note taking. One problem I have is that=20
as I fill up the page I have less and less room to write the next=20
text.

My usual method is to write smaller until the page is almost filled=20
and then hit the scroll down arrow to go to a new page. If I hit the=20
scroll down arrow too soon I don't see any of my existing text, which=20
I prefer to avoid.

Is it me or the Newton? Is there anyway to scroll sooner either a=20
full page or a half page without having all the text disappear at the=20
top and/or without using the scroll button. Is there some kind of=20
gesture I can use to have it scroll a certain number of lines but not=20
a full page but leave the insertion caret where it is?

Brian
