Hi Jos=E9,

I understand your frustration ;).

there are a few things you can try:
1. Get help from a Newton user nearby, as you are trying right now.
2. Get a cable and a dongle to connect the Newton to your computer to=20
initially install the driver on your machine.
3. Get somebody to send you a card to install the driver from there
4. Send your Newton to somebody to install everything for you

Of course, it would be good to know what kind of ethernet card you have, =
so=20
one of use could send you the correct driver on a little 2 or 4 or 6 MB c=
ard.=20
I have two 6 MB intel cards at home which I have not used much, I'd be=20
willing to part with (at least one of them). If you are willing to pay fo=
r=20
the card ($10 ok?) plus the postage (maybe another $5 per US Global Prior=
ity=20
Mail to London), I'd send it off to you. It would be nice if there was an=
y=20
device out there which could write packages to one of these Linear Flash=20
cards for Newtons to read them, but I haven't heard of such an animal=20
anywhere.

Best regards,
Chris=20
