Hi,

A good alternative is the LocalTalk Ethernet Bridge software
(free from Apple if you search their site).

Essentially use an old Mac to bridge your LocalTalk & EtherTalk
network (Mac LC or Colour Classic with PDS ethernet is good for this).

Also lets you use TCP/IP encapsulated in AppleTalk which is handy for
*really*
old systems with no built in expansion that require Internet access (eg
for simple
email or telnet). This kind of thing is great for small Library/School
networks setup
with a bunch of old Mac Classics and AtEase to lock them down.

A quick google shows

Hope it helps,
Raj.
