Oo! I can answer that! I just went through this a couple months ago. Get
yourself a 3Com 3C589D card. It will work great with both. You will probably
have to do some searching for drivers for the Mac (I may still have mine
sitting around somewhere--for sure, they are still in the 1400--if you need
them), but these cards work in both. I have two--one for each, and am happy
with both of them...
