Oops, nevermind...looked thoroughly through the stock hung on the peg
and found a 1N5239B which is the part no. that comes up on the Mouser
Electronics site when searching for 1N713. Looks like these are all
equivalent...guess I was getting hung up on the the details found on
some of the spec sheets I had been perusing. Just didn't want to deviate
too much from the 1N713 specs.

Sorry for having this conversation with myself on the List.... ;-)
