You're right. AMOF, one of my macs is a PM8100 (NuBus).
What is intriging me in Joseph's post is:

"The highlight of the evening was when Ernie performed the nubus conversion
on one of his 12 newts, with a portable soldering iron and a couple of
resistors!"

What does this mean?
