What if you have a 120 or 130? Serial is the only way. Also, if you have a
bare 2K device, you lack the necessary software parts.

In this case, you will need either an older rev. A or B iMac, with IrDA, or
a USB-to-serial adapter, like the Belkin or Keyspan. I suppose if you can
swing it, this is the best basic way to connect.
