Hello All,
I'm a longtime list lurker, but infrequent contributor. Still, I
read and enjoy each digest.
I made a couple of posts in May after a burglary at my house that
relieved me of my MP2100 and associated peripherals. Drat. Given
that the thieves passed up a PowerBook in favour of my Newton, I
couldn't decide whether to be impressed or angered. I'm guessing it
was both.
I'm only now getting around to piecing back together my Newton setup,
and as I will be in the USA on business for 3 weeks in September
(yes, I'm flying on the 11th, wish me luck...) I thought I'd ask the
list if anyone was interested in selling any of the following items:
-Newton Briefcase. This is the full-size black leather handled
briefcase with the Newton Logo on the outside, and room for angled
MessagePad, Keyboard, PC Cards, Manuals, etc...
-A full set of Newton Manuals for an MP2000 / MP2100
-An Ethernet card that will work BOTH in an MP2100, AND a PowerBook 1400.
If anyone is interested in selling any of the above items, or knows
any place where they are for sale, I'd be grateful if they can
respond to me, off-list.

P.S. Oh yeah, one more thing: I know that there's an outfit in
Germany that does the Hardware acceleration upgrade on Newtons. Does
anyone in the USA offer this upgrade? What about Dr Newton? (i.e.
David Watson)
