If you have an ethernet card for your newton, checkout www.vicomsoft.com.
They have 2 bits of software surfdoubler and a more expensive one. I
downloaded surfdoubler as a demo and within seconds my newt was sharing the
adsl connection from my mac and I was using the newton to download mail.
Their customer service was brilliant at least here in the uk and they even
knew what a newton was. Works with macos 9 and ten and only about =A325 ukp.
He even mentioned that I could get this working wirelessly with an airport
card in my mac and an airport compatible card in the newton without buying =
a
base station. That I didn=B9t try so I'm not sure

Check it out
Ps I don=B9t work for them
