Namewise, without offending anybody or infringing on PALM's name, how about

        Nepal

as an abbreviation of NEwton and PALm.

This would fit in so nicely with another Newton app. with a completely
different purpose: Tibet. Any name of an other Asian country or of the
Indian subcontinent would work too, but wouldn't be as intuitive. That's
why I won't suggest BHARAT (India).

Just my thoughts.
