After you did install the special connection app on the Newton. So,
everybody going in that direction has to remember to keep a copy of NCU or a
copy of the special connection application on the Newton so that in the
event that you need to completely wipe out the internal memory or something
wrong happens with your external card, you still have the ability to
connect.

I'm just pointing that out because people are talking a lot about the
application on OS X and few seem to remember that you will also have to
install a special connection application on the Newton. So, you might not
want to throw away OS 9 and NCU yet!
