hey well i have the dwl650 and it works just fine w/ these pkgs installed:
internet setup 137K 6mb card
newton devices 67K internal
internet enabler [NIE] 251K internal
NIE ethernet module 61K internal
z3ccomDrv [for use with 3com 589]
farallon enet [ditto]
and of course
802.11b wavelan 38K internal
in internet setups i have 1 for ethernet [dhcp, blahblah] and the other for
wireless, also set to dhcp and filled out with my school's workgroup/domain
name. also have the disconnect timeout set to 5 minutes.
for worksites and owner info, i simply have "home" set to the 'ethernet'
setup via 3com and "school" set to the 'wireless' setup via dwl650. no prob.
in the pref pane of the 802 driver itself, i have it set to infrastructure,
with my school's SID, and no encryption.
