Hmm. They're all 64k or lower, and all play wonderfully for hours on my
2000u on a number of different networks.

Here's a 24kbps stream. Maybe check this one out. If this really
low-bandwith stream stutters, it's likely something with your Newton, not
your Internet connection:

I don't have too many apps (maybe 10-15) loaded, and I've never had heap
difficulties. I also play them over a 802.11b network, which, if anything,
would make it more susceptible to network blips or interference.
