dialing _ which is when maximum power draw occurs)

Motorola 14.4 150mA
Motorola Montana 336 320mA
Newton Fax Modem Card 50mA
USR XJEM336 400+mA (this is about 5 times the power your
Newt uses with the backlight on. not recommended except for emergency
heating. I got total readings [newt + modem] in excess of 500mA while
testing this modem.)
USR XJ4336 310mA
Zoom 2975L V.90 280mA
