Hi Josh--

Yes, you can. A program called MAD Max is an MP3 player for Newton
(http://www.40hz.com). Songs can be transferred from a Mac to your Newton
using a plug-in developed for iTunes (http://www.pixell.net/doppler/newton/
), or using a PC with MP3Builder
(http://dev.newtontalk.net/~dpadilla/progs.htm).

MAD Max also receives MP3 streams over the Internet.
