It depends how long you left your Newt without power. The MP2x00 has "only"
a supercap, capable of buffering the RTC for max. 4 hours.
But if you touched the logic board during disassembly it is possible that
you touched the Supercap discharging it a bit or you touched the crystal.
This might explain that your Newt partly forgot time and date.
